From February to April 2023, Dallas metro area upheld its position as the frontrunner among the 15 metro areas with an 11.7% increase in new property listings, resulting in a total of 43,350 single-family homes listed.
In contrast, the Seattle metro area experienced the most significant decline in year-over-year new property listings during the same period, with a substantial drop of 38.8%. In April 2023, only 9,810 single-family homes were listed, marking a sharp decrease compared to the previous year.
