Within the Chicago metro region, the end of March 2023 witnessed a fall of 12% in the inventory of single-family homes listed for sale, as compared to the same period in the prior year, resulting in a total inventory of 18,630 units.
Additionally, during this same month, the number of single-family homes sold in the area decreased by 21%, with a total value of 12,560 homes sold.
